In the basement next to boxes and bones I left a few months. Not many but enough, some have said it was living rough, but not so, how could it be, considering the streets above me?
While underground I still recall the sensation of the fall and in the dark I crane my neck to see the scars on my own back. And what I lack in what you want I'll make up.
Probably not.
In the basement I am cold, I am learning how to make a home.
